Purpose:

To accelerate speed-to-market by coordinating and executing deal-based merchandising initiatives across all marketing channels. This role ensures timely briefing and delivery of promotional assets including website banners, weekly deal flyers, monthly catalogues, and additional marketing materials, driving customer engagement and sales through effective deal communication.

 

Primary Accountabilities & Objectives:

  • Brief and manage the creation and delivery of deal-based marketing assets including website banners, weekly deal flyers, monthly deal
    catalogues, and promotional materials across all channels
  • Drive rapid turnaround of deal campaigns from concept to launch, ensuring all promotional materials are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing channel teams to optimise deal promotion strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and maximum visibility across all customer touchpoints
  • Work closely with the product delivery team to ensure deals are sourced correctly, accurately advertised, and presented to showcase full value proposition to customers
  • Monitor, track, and report on deal performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve future promotional effectiveness and ROI
  • Act as the central point of contact between merchandising, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of deal campaigns
  • Review all deal communications for accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance with promotional guidelines before publication
  • Marketing teams home base team in Australia, and on occasion the various marketing teams in New Zealand, South Africa, Canada and the UK

 

Experience, Education and Qualification:

  • Relevant marketing experience
  • Retail and/or wholesale travel sales experience
  • Tertiary level qualification in related field
