
As the Senior Commercial Analyst for the Flight Centre Brand, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance, with a particular focus on our ecommerce operations.
You’ll work closely with global finance and commercial leaders to discover, deliver, and embed data-driven initiatives that optimise revenue, maximise investment returns, and minimise costs. This is an analytically focused role that continuously seeks opportunities for growth and improvement.

Reporting and Analysis
Provide monthly performance reporting and value-added analysis to enable informed business decisions
Develop and maintain reporting frameworks for key risk areas to support the financial accounting team
Monitor and analyse contract performance across call centre channels and outsourced finance partners
Manage reporting on store network investments, providing key findings and recommendations
Track and report on trading performance, including monitoring KPIs and targets
Conduct analysis and reporting on People, Culture, and remuneration metrics
Deliver insights, analysis, and recommendations on cash holdings
Ad Hoc Commercial Support
Identify, implement, and monitor risks and action plans to realise commercial benefits for the ecommerce channel and broader global initiatives
Extract, transform, and interpret data to create insights through analytics and modelling
Continuously identify and deliver value-add projects that support growth and efficiency
Review key contract terms and conditions to ensure opportunities are maximised
Bachelor of Business or a relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar analytical or reporting role
Strong proficiency in SQL for accessing shared datasets or datamarts, with experience in Power BI and Excel
Proven ability to interpret large data sets and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations
Commercially minded with the ability to think strategically and proactively
Experience in Power Query or Data Brick within Excel to manipulate, transform, and present data
High level of ownership, attention to detail, and accountability
Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex information simply
Excellent time management, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
Experience in high-volume transactional environments is advantageous but not essential
