We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our Digital Platforms team. The role is responsible for the design, build, test and release of our iOS and Android apps using React Native.
You will be a self-motivated team player, a coach and mentor to others, working across multiple teams, contribute to our culture of engineering and operational excellence and continuously improve our craftsmanship.

A day in the life...
Design, build efficient, testable and maintainable code with the right balance between solving the problem at hand and not over-engineering your solution.
Work across both iOS and Android apps, involving React Native.
Collaborate with our cross-functional Product Management and Engineering teams to plan and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Take initiative and always look for ways to improve the quality of our solutions, code bases, technical debt, standards, processes and best practices.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to build and release software across all our environments.
Analyse business requirements and problem solve to create the right solutions for our customers.
Participate in code reviews with other engineers to provide feedback to ensure we maintain quality, standards, meets requirements and compliance.
Research technologies and trends to contribute to our solutions.
Who you are...
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
You have proven experience building, testing and releasing mobile apps.
You have strong experience in software testing from unit tests and UI tests.
Experience in building apps for online & offline, utilising APIs, real-time push notifications and consuming native APIs.
Experience in React native ecosystems like Hooks, State management (Redux etc.), Typescript.
You have proven experience in software development, with recent experience in building iOS or Android mobile applications and React Native.
Experience working with Analytics/Marketing tools.
Provide leadership to the development team fostering a culture of mentorship.
Communicate across diverse teams to ensure collaborative practices are fostered towards achieving team goals.
