We're looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to help shape the future of our loyalty experience across app and web. This is an innovative, boundary-pushing role for someone who wants to move beyond conventional design and development to create experiences that genuinely surprise and delight our members. You'll work with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams; owning the end-to-end design across both platforms, balancing bold creative thinking with the rigor needed to ship polished, user-centred product at scale.

Day to day:

  • Design customer-friendly, engaging, and functional digital experiences across products and platforms
  • Contribute to experience design from project inception through build and launch
  • Create UX deliverables including user journeys, workflows, scenario maps, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Conduct user research activities including interviews, contextual enquiries, surveys, A/B testing, and metrics analysis
  • Plan and facilitate face-to-face and remote usability testing sessions
  • Analyse research findings and provide evidence-based recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct heuristic reviews and identify opportunities to improve customer experiences and workflows
  • Apply user-centred design and design-thinking methodologies throughout the product lifecycle
  • Validate design concepts and decisions using customer feedback, testing, and data insights
  • Create and communicate design concepts through storyboards, process flows, prototypes, and UI designs
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective design solutions
  • Contribute to and help maintain design systems that support consistency across products
  • Champion experience design and advocate for customer needs across the organisation
  • Present ideas and design concepts clearly and confidently to stakeholders
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

You'll be perfect for the role, if you have:

  • 2+ years' experience as a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer
  • Experience using Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
  • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research and analysis
  • Experience using and contributing to design systems
  • Strong foundational UI design skills
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design and design-thinking methodologies
  • Ability to design wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and interface designs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
