We are currently responsible for a portfolio of automation tools however the focal point is Service Now as the ITIL platform of choice and platform adoption in the form of automation.

Day to day:
Communicating technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Consulting with business analyst/project manager to develop appropriate technical solutions. · Documenting and gain acceptance / approvals of selected final solutions
Executing technical solutions in capacity as a ServiceNow lead, subject matter expert
Coaching and advising other Developers/ support engineers
Develop, test and implement Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs including advanced scripting of each, forms workflows, and custom Service Portal widgets
Ensure proper operation and configuration of the platform through testing and validation
Develop, test, and implement data integrations via API calls to various other technologies within our Platform environment
Administration of the application, including but not limited to, installation/upgrading, configuration, operation, and maintenance
Advance the maturity of the environment by researching and implementing new tools and technologies
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
3+ years of experience as a developer on the ServiceNow Platform
ServiceNow Certification System Administrator and Application Developer
Working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Change Management, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Problem Management, Incident Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, etc
Knowledge of HTTP, REST, and API design best practices. Understanding of event-driven architectures. Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts. Knowledge of modern web design (CSS, HTML, etc.), JavaScript, and Angular
The ability to provide ServiceNow customization and configuration including but not limited to: scripting, workflow administration, report setup, module configuration, data imports and third-part software integration
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum software development environment
You'll earn brownie points with:
CMDB/IRM/CSM Implementation Experience
Integration and API Experience
ITIL certification (at least ITIL V3 foundation)
Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practices in particular Incident management, problem management and change management.
Experience in automation tools, such as Blue Prism, UI Automation, UiPath, Power Platform
Proficiency in programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, Python or .NET
Basic knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial
