We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Supply PM&E division. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our Azure infrastructure and services. Leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable systems that meet our clients' evolving needs. A day in the life...
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and highly available infrastructure and services on Microsoft Azure.
Develop automated solutions for deployment, configuration management, and monitoring using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Azure Monitor, Terraform or Bicep.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for Azure-based applications.
Participate in incident response and resolution, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews.
Implement and maintain robust disaster recovery and failover strategies on Azure.
Stay current with Microsoft Azure services, features, and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Who you are...
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in Microsoft Azure technologies.
Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Bicep.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Docker on Azure.
Strong knowledge of networking principles, Azure networking services, and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
Desirable...
Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, release management, and infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions on Azure such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Experience with Azure database services such as Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or Azure Database for PostgreSQL/MySQL.
Knowledge of Azure security best practices and principles.
