About the Opportunity

Supply Tech are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to support the analysis, preparation, and execution of testing for projects and releases and to ensure system and application changes are fit for purpose, including Windows, API, legacy and web applications. You will also be responsible for assuring the quality of software projects through test automation.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst you will drive continual improvement of the testing methodology, test tools, processes, approaches, and techniques. Working with stakeholders, you will provide accurate test estimates, in line with defect management processes and tools, ensuring the quality of items raised and adherence to the defined defect lifecycle, as well as actively participating in the testing. 

 

Your day to day:

  • Involvement in Test planning towards a planned release
  • Perform Requirements Analysis
  • Perform Test design and Test Execution in Zephyr Scale Tool
  • Raise defects, and triage/manage them with Dev / Base
  • Communicate blockers to Delivery Leads, Project Managers, Tech Leads 
  • Automate regression scenarios with suitable tools, where applicable
  • Report test execution status
  • Participate in meetings including stand-ups, board reviews, workshops, triage meetings

 

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in Functional and Integration testing
  • Strong functional testing capabilities in SIT, UAT and Regression Testing, working with upstream and downstream testing, with reference to data feed
  • Strong API testing experience associated tools (Postman, SoapUI, Jmeter or similar)
  • Experience in API Automation testing is highly desirable (Ready API, RestAssured or Similar)
  • Strong experience in analysing functional and integration requirements
  • Leading test design activity - functional/integration test scenarios
  • Deep understanding of testing of application components in an Agile environment utilising a risk-based quality approach
  • Deep level of experience in Testing and being involved in complex integration projects
  • Experience with using at least one test and defect management tool, such as Zephyr, JIRA
  • Test design, execution, and completion reports
  • Experience working with multiple vendors on a complex program
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills interfacing with key project stakeholders
  • Leading defect life cycle management including tracking and triaging

 

Extra points:

  • Hands-on experience in API testing
  • ISTQB Certification
