About the Opportunity

Join Global Supply as an Air Strategist and play a key role in maximising airline partnerships and commercial outcomes across Australia.

You will drive airline contract performance through creative campaigns, incentives, and product innovation while influencing key stakeholders across brands and functions.

Working closely with Supplier Relationship Managers and Analysts, you will help shape competitive air strategies and deliver value to both our partners and frontline teams.

Based in the Brisbane head office, this is an exciting opportunity to combine commercial acumen, relationship management, and strategic thinking in a high-impact role.

 

 

What you will do:

  • Support airline contracts to drive and maximise earning opportunities across FCTG
    Deliver marketing campaigns, consultant incentives, expos, and product initiatives aligned to preferred agreements
  • Partner with Supplier Relationship Managers to strengthen airline relationships and deliver mutual success
  • Assist frontline selling teams to improve conversion and ease of booking
  • Contribute to sourcing and developing competitive, innovative air products across all brands
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, product, finance, and brand leaders
  • Manage a portfolio of airline partners and support strategic air buying initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and improved workflow within the Air Strategist team
  • Analyse data and financial performance to uncover commercial opportunities
  • Influence stakeholders by understanding needs and delivering tailored solutions

 

 

What you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ travel industry experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience within airline, retail, or consolidation environments (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of airfares
  • Proficiency in Sabre and Excel
  • Ability to analyse data and identify financial opportunities
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload and manage competing priorities
  • Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and creative approach
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Leadership experience (desirable)
  • Product management experience (desirable)
