We are a dynamic and fast-growing company looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing & PR Coordinator to join our team! You will play a key part in ensuring that all our press advertising, PR, partnerships, and promotional efforts are executed flawlessly to align with our business goals. You will execute marketing and PR activities for the group, including planning and project managing and support the Media & PR Manager to achieve the company’s sales and strategic marketing objectives.
A day in the life:
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating press advertising, proofing, briefing, and tracking placements to ensure accurate alignment with business objectives
Drafting press releases, tracking PR efforts, coordinating partnership deliverables, and managing promotional campaigns. The role ensures all partnership and promotional assets are briefed, delivered, and reported on time
Execute above the line advertising campaigns, print advertising collateral production, special executions and TV
Manage all stages of the advertising life cycle from briefing the inhouse design team, working with internal stakeholders and key partners to approve creative, and ensuring dispatch deadlines are met with creative on brand
Develop and execute corporate and brand PR strategies, including media releases, award submissions, and internal communications, with full scheduling and execution.
Building and monitoring media database, sourcing and researching potential consumer stories to pitch to different types of media
Execute national promotional activities with key media partners, incorporating creative briefs, approvals, T&Cs and delivery on time and on brand
Maintaining and updating the Marketing Calendar with promotions, partnerships and campaigns
Analyze and report on PR and promotion effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing future projects based on media coverage and ROI.
Assist with the planning and execution of media and partner familiarisation trips, events, and other promotional activities, including for maximum exposure and return on investment
Support the team with overflow work to ensure delivery across the entire team and assisting the copywriting team
Monitor competitor and media channels, build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and media
Remain agile and adaptable to take on ad hoc projects and provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager
Who you are:
3+ years experience in implementing B2C marketing campaigns or public relations activity
Can whip up engaging copy in a flash with strong copy-writing experience in press releases
Excel at process as much as production
Task oriented, you know how to effectively manage workflow to 'get it done' (on-time, on-brand and on-budget)
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Background in travel advantageous
Tertiary qualifications in marketing or advertising or journalism will be highly regarded
Owns the role –your attitude is absolute ‘can do’ sinking your teeth into challenges and findings ways to add value
Outstandng communication skills - confident to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
