We’re hiring now to help prepare our business for open borders and increased customer demand. As our network of FCTG alumni and travel industry colleagues, you’re the first to hear about the travel sales consultant roles we need to fill before Christmas.

About our available roles
As a Travel Sales Consultant in a customer-facing retail store, you will play an integral part in the business’ success as we embark on this next journey together. Right now, we are hiring for retail roles available in locations across Australia; from community-based regional stores to big city hyper stores. We’re looking for energetic, social team players who like the idea of flexible 5 – 7 day rosters, talking travel day-in-day-out and helping to create amazing travel experiences for our customers.
The more you sell, the more you earn
In September 2021, Flight Centre introduced a new wage model for its leisure consultants. Key changes include:
An increase of the base retainer (starting at $44,898 for Consultants, up to $62,882 for Senior Team Leaders)
FCB has moved away from a commission-based model to a sales-based (TTV) model.
Penalties will no longer be offset by incentives (retainer + penalties + incentive model)
Covid guarantee will be extended until 31 December 2021, meaning all consultants are paid a bonus in addition to their base retainer.
