We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in finance and accounting to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in identifying and evaluating financial business requirements, streamlining processes, and enhancing technological platforms within our global Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) team. This role demands a keen understanding of financial principles to effectively drive improvements and innovations in our business solutions.
You'll be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting process, design and architecture, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. If you have knowledge in business process improvement, software development life cycle methodologies, and experience in creating commercial business cases to understand the ROI of opportunities, please apply!
Day in the life:
Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Develop use cases and process flows to support the development of software solutions
Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain points
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are aligned with business goals
Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
Create business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support business opportunities
Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that solutions meet business requirements
Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
5+ years professional experience in a business analyst role
Previous exposure to financial analysis
Experience within travel or other internet-scale environments
Background knowledge in discipline areas such as, requirements gathering process, design and architecture
Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
Knowledge in business process re-engineering and improvement
Strong facilitation skills
Good quality documentation skills, both technical and non-technical
